Book a Family Mini Session
What is a mini session? Usually portrait sessions take between one and two hours and you then choose your favourite photos from around 45-50 carefully edited images. But a few times a year we run mini sessions which are exactly what they sound like – shorter versions of a full length shoot. Because they are shorter than a normal portrait session, we take fewer photos so usually you’ll have around 10-15 photos from which to choose your favourites. In order to get as much variety in your shoot as possible, mini sessions are far more structured than bespoke shoots because we have less time. However, clients are often spoilt for choice and end up buying all 10-15 images after their shoot.
How much do they cost? They price for these festive mini sessions is £55. This includes:
- A What to Expect guide with tips on what to wear and how to prepare for your session
- A 30-minute photography shoot
- Your own password-protected online gallery featuring at least 10 images from which you can choose your favourites. Your gallery will be live for 7 days so that you can share it with friends and family and make your selections. You may buy digital images or products in addition to those included in your mini shoot if you wish and you can also see the selection of beautiful frames, canvases and albums.
- Two high res digital images of your choice. These will be uploaded to an online gallery for you to download.
- Facebook timeline image.
- Print release.
What if I want to buy more digital images or prints/products? You can buy whatever you like in addition – extra digital images, prints, albums. But there is no obligation to do so. If you would like to see a price list of products I will email it over to you. Additional digital images cost £15 each.
What time are the sessions? On Saturday 20 January 2018 the sessions are at the following times : 10am, 11am, 12noon, 1pm, 2pm. On Saturday 27 January 2018, the sessions are at: 10am, 11am, 12noon, 1.15pm, 2pm. Each session lasts 30 minutes and I have allowed a gap between each to allow for over-running but since they are so close together I’d be grateful if you could arrive promptly for your session.
Who are mini sessions for? Mini sessions are for children/famiies with children who are 4 years old or over and ideal for or pregnancy photographs, birthdays, graduation, children's headshots.
How do I book? Please email to let me know your time of choice. We will then send you an invoice for £55 to reserve your slot and send over your What to Expect guide. Before the session we will have a chat about who will be coming on the shoot and how you’d like to display your photos and we will confirm location.
What if it’s raining/snowing/hailing on the day? As long as it’s not raining, hailing or snowing heavily, we will be able to go ahead with the shoot. Even if it’s cloudy we can get some lovely photos. And because they’re mini shoots, even if it’s cold you can pop into a nearby cafe to warm up (I have carefully chosen both locations to ensure that there is a cafe and a loo close by).
What happens if one of us is ill on the day? The last thing I want is for you to look back on your shoot and remember how ill you felt or how stressful it was because your little one was off colour. If you’re ill please let me know asap and we can reschedule your session.
What if I want to buy a mini session as a gift? A voucher for a mini session would make a lovely gift. I offer beautifully designed, personalised vouchers. Please get in touch if you would like to buy a voucher for a mini session as a Christmas gift.
